From traffic to revenue: the funnel fixes that move the needle
Fix the leak first.

More traffic rarely fixes a leaky funnel. Often the fastest growth comes from converting the visitors you already have.

When growth stalls, the instinct is to buy more traffic. It feels decisive — open the budget, more visitors arrive. But if your funnel converts at 2%, doubling spend just doubles the leak. You pay twice as much to lose 98% of people instead of one batch of them. Lifting that conversion rate to 4% effectively doubles revenue from the same traffic — usually faster and far cheaper than buying your way to the same result.

More traffic into a leaky funnel doesn't fix the leak. It just makes it more expensive.

Start where intent is highest

The biggest wins are rarely at the top of the funnel. They're in the moments just before someone converts — the pricing page, the form, the checkout, the demo request. People are already there, hand half-raised. Clear next steps, honest trust signals, fast pages, and forms that ask only for what you actually need will recover more revenue than another tranche of cold traffic ever would.

Change one thing at a time

The goal isn't a prettier page; it's a more profitable one. So measure honestly, change one variable at a time, and let the data — not opinions or taste — decide what stays. Small, compounding wins on the highest-intent pages beat a single dramatic redesign that you can't attribute. Get the leak closed, and every pound you later spend on traffic works twice as hard.
